What is an MEE system?
Multiple Effect Evaporation is the use of multiple stages or “effects” to evaporate water or solvent from industrial liquids using less energy. Each stage has steam energy that is reused by the subsequent stage, overall providing the highest efficiency per unit of steam. MEE systems are used extensively in industries that need to evaporate water on a large scale and at minimum steam levels.
